Four people were sitting in a home in the 800 block of John Street at about 10:45 p.m. Monday when they heard a bang on the front window. The four suspects, including two males allegedly wearing masks and carrying guns, kicked down the front door and began yelling at the victims, who hid in a nearby bedroom and bathroom, according to a police report.

The suspects took multiple items, including a television, vapor smoking devices, cell phones and a purse.

Two of the victims climbed out of a bedroom window and were able to call police from another apartment. One of the victims fought with one of the suspects before all four of them fled on foot.

Police later found the suspects in the 100 block of Sunset Avenue. They attempted to stop the males, but one fled on foot. The juvenile was then found in a dumpster, where he was hiding from police.

The 16-year-old — who had been reported as missing — was charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and obstruction, the report said. He was placed in the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.

A warrant has been issued for another man, Michael Kraus, 24, for aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. Two other men involved in the incident have yet to be identified.
