  • A man called around 8 a.m. on Sunday to report that sometime between 5 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. on Sunday, a neighbor damaged his three vehicles - a 2016 electric Glide Harley Davidson, 2002 Cadillac Escalade and 2001 Chevy S10 truck - in the 200 block of North Jackson Street by setting off fireworks on his property, a report said. The man said, "his security cameras caught the suspect lighting the fireworks right next to his 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle. He states there were several other people standing around him as he did this," the report said. "The fireworks caused debris and residue from the fireworks to be embedded in the paint of all three of his vehicles… The residue was all over the windshields also." According to the report, the suspect is described to be a man in his mid to late 30s, between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2, and about 230 pounds.

Another call was made at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday from a woman who said her 2007 Chevy Blazer that was parked in her driveway in the 900 block of Southfield Avenue was damaged, a report said. “She advised that several people in the neighborhood were setting off large numbers of fireworks. She advised that a piece of debris from the fireworks struck the open, back hatch glass of her vehicle, causing it to shatter,” the report said.
