A Springfield garage was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of items were reported stolen.

Springfield police responded Monday morning to the 500 block of North Fountain Avenue on a report of a burglary, according to a police report.

Springfield police seeking identities of two bank robbers

When officers arrived, the resident told them that someone kicked in the walk-in door of his garage and took over $1,200 worth of tools sometime between Nov. 18 and Nov. 24.

According to the report, $950 worth of extension ladders, a $200 push lawn mover, a $130 cordless drill, and a $100 bicycle were all taken from the garage.

No suspect information was listed in the report, and police are continuing their investigating into the burglary.
