Ohio State Highway Patrol to hold area OVI checkpoint this week

The Ohio State Highway Patrol will hold an OVI checkpoint this week.

The Marysville post of the patrol sent a press release announcing their intention to do so Monday morning.

“The county where the checkpoint will take place will be announced the day prior to the checkpoint, and the location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint,” the release says.

Don’t consume alcohol and drive, the release says, and use a designated driver.

“Don’t let another life be lost for the senseless and selfish act of getting behind the wheel impaired,” the report says.
