It is still unclear what the exact allegations against them are. Springfield police said in a press release that Camden died from dehydration.

The parents were charged separately and both pleaded not guilty.

Clark County Common Pleas Judge Douglas Rastatter set the bonds following arraignment hearing, court records show. Heinzen appeared in court last week and her bond was set during a hearing. She is no longer listed in Clark County Jail.

Brandon Beedy appeared in court this week where a $50,000 bond was imposed against him by the judge, online records indicate. Jail records show Beedy is now in jail in Greene County on failure to appear charges.

Springfield police opened an investigation on Jan. 12 when they were called to a home on the 1900 block of Kenton Street.
