Xenia police seek ID of thief who stole purse, credit card at REACH Center

Police in Xenia are asking for help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing a credit card from a vehicle parked at the REACH Center then using it at The Greene the same day.

The unidentified thief was captured on surveillance video March 30 loitering for a couple hours in the parking lot at the REACH Center, where she stole a purse from inside a vehicle, according to police.

The purse contained an Old Navy credit card, and later the same day the thief was picked up on store surveillance using the card at the Old Navy store at The Greene, according to police.

Police advised not to leave anything of value out in the open in vehicles when parking in public lots.
