Spring at the Heritage Center means you can come see a “sweet” recreation of a local historic scene using marshmallow Peeps!

For the sixth year, volunteers from the library and archives: Sandy Bialik, Ruth Stiles, Virginia Warren, Marguerite Brinkman, and visiting friend Marilyn Kissell worked together with Curator of Library and Archives, Natalie Fritz, to re-enact history in miniature.

This year, they built a dual seasonal scene showing summertime fishing and wintery ice skaters enjoying Snyder Park’s lagoon. You can find the scene on the second floor of the Heritage Center.
