"We received a complaint about roaches at that location,” said Clark County Combined Health District Health Commissioner Charles Patterson. “The complaint was valid."
Several videos posted to Facebook last week by a person who identified themselves as an employee shows roaches on the floor and counter.
The inspection happened on Jan. 22 and when the inspector arrived Bob Evans had already voluntarily closed to address the issue.
"They had chosen to shut the facility down and do what needed to be done,” Patterson said.
The restaurant is now back open, the health district said today.
“Upon re inspection today, no cockroaches were found and the Clark County Combined Health District is confident in the four-day cleaning and fogging process that the restaurant undertook. We will continue to monitor the situation but the restaurant is safe and open for business,” the CCCHD said in a Facebook post.

The complaint was the second since November involving roaches being at the restaurant.
On Nov. 1, inspectors responded to the restaurant for a roach complaint and found that complaint to be valid.
Patterson said restaurants typically spray on regular basis to keep roaches out.
The most recent complaint at the restaurant was received anonymously.
