Kings Island closed Friday, reopens Saturday morning

Due to expected inclement weather, Kings Island officials announced the amusement park will be closed today, but will reopen on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Monday marks the last day of the regular season for Kings Island for the summer of 2017, but those who decide to visit the park are in for some money-saving treats.

The park will be open at 10 a.m. Monday and will offer $1 deals, including dollar hot dogs, slices of LaRosa’s pizza, ice cream and cotton candy throughout the park.

A select number of games will also be available to play for just $1, including Plate Break, Whack-a-Mole, Turbo Blast, Tiny Tower, Goblet, Ring Toss, Short Range basketball, Bowler Roller and Flip-a-Chick.

After Labor Day, Kings Island will be closed to the public until Sept. 22 when the Halloween Haunt begins.

Kings Island park hours this weekend are Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
