Graeter’s celebrates national ice cream month with deals

Graeter’s Ice Cream fans can expect a summer season full of surprises and bonus flavors.

The Cincinnati-based, family-owned craft ice cream business will celebrate National Ice Cream Month with calendar full of events.

On July 17, ice cream enthusiasts can celebrate the company’s 146th birthday with lowered prices — the iconic ice cream cones will go for just $1.46 each. New bonus flavors will be announced on July 11, July 25, Aug. 8 and Aug. 22, according to a news release.

“Our 146th birthday on National Ice Cream Day is the perfect time to celebrate Graeter’s and the fans who have helped to make us such a mainstay in so many homes nationwide,” said Chip Graeter, owner of Graeter’s Ice Cream. “We take an incredible amount of pride in creating the ideal ice cream experience, which we’ve been perfecting since Graeter’s first small batch of ice cream was churned in 1870.”
