62-year-old gets 2 months in jail, labeled as sex offender

Kyle Shirk was sentenced to 60 days in the Logan County Jail, five years community control, sex offender treatment, and ordered to pay a $500 fine, court costs, and attorney fees. Shirk was convicted of two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity material and two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

He was classified as a Tier II sex offender and must report his address to the sheriff every six months for 25 years.
In October, Shirk pleaded guilty to illegal use of a minor in sexually oriented material and two counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

In July, he was indicted on 10 felony counts of pandering sexually oriented material and 10 counts of illegal use of a minor.
