Wright State student robbed at gunpoint

A Wright State University student was robbed at gunpoint in an off-campus apartment complex.

The incident occurred at the Province Apartments on Clover Ridge near Wright State University.

A student was allegedly robbed of his money, wallet and phone during the incident. The suspect displayed a silver and black Smith and Wesson handgun during the robbery, Wright State Police said in a release on their Facebook page.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes. He may go by the nickname of "Shaq," police said.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
