The victim told officers that she and the suspect had been arguing all day until she left for work. When she was on her way home from work around 10 p.m., she saw her other vehicle parked at the entrance of Ronez Manor Apartments with the suspect behind the wheel, the report says.

While driving on East Home Road, she saw the suspect pull out behind her and follow her as she turned onto North Belmont Avenue.

“She stated that (the suspect) started to accelerate behind her, attempting to pass her. She stated that as he passed, he swerved to hit her car, but she was able to slow down and swerve out of his way,” the report says. “(The victim) stated that at that time, (the suspect) lost control of the vehicle, it spun 180 degrees leaving the left side of the roadway and crashed into a ditch.”

The victim then pulled over to check the suspect was okay before he attempted to walk away and get into her parked car.
