The Ohio State Highway Patrol has reported that late Thursday, troopers arrested a Springfield woman for driving while under the influence for the fifth time.

Amber Hixon, 38, was stopped by troopers for an equipment violation on Bechtle Avenue near Eagle City Road in Clark County, according to a press release.
During the stop, troopers said that noticed signs that she was impaired, and arrested her.
Records then showed that she had prior OVI convictions in 2011, 2010, 2006 and 2002, all from arrests in Clark County.
Hixon is due to appear in court Tuesday.
