Springfield man pleads guilty to sexually assaulting teen’s feet

A Springfield man pleaded guilty in connection to an alleged sexual assault of a teenager.

Michael Hoskins, 63, is charged in Clark County Municipal Court with sexual imposition. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered in the case. A next court date was not set.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office began their investigation Aug. 18 when an incident was reported to the office involving Hoskins engaging in sexual contact with a teen, an affidavit filed with the charge says. A couple of weeks later the child was interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in Greene County, according to the affidavit.

The child was staying overnight Hoskins’ residence when she fell asleep while watching TV, according to the affidavit. She awaken to find the man putting her toes in his mouth and ”making noises with his mouth,” the affidavit says.

The child said she moved her feet and he jumped up, “at which time she noticed his pants were open, his belt hanging and could see the top of his underwear,” the affidavit says.

The child left the room without saying anything to Hoskins, the affidavit says.

Clark County Sheriff Office detectives interviewed Hoskins on Oct. 3, according to the affidavit, and he told them he understood his rights.

“Mr. Hoskins admitted he had a sexual fetish about feet and acknowledged he did put his mouth on (the child’s) toes while she was sleeping,” the affidavit says. “He denied he intended to engage in sexual conduct with her.”

Hoskins was charged at that time and ordered into court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to the charges.
