Springfield man charged for assaulting pregnant girlfriend

A Springfield man has been charged with felonious assault for attacking his pregnant girlfriend, according to a police report.

Officers identified the suspect as 30-year-old Travis Keen, according to a police report.

The victim is 10 weeks pregnant with Keen’s child, the report says.

Police were called to the scene of a domestic dispute at 1946 Primm Dr. on Sunday, Dec. 30, according to a police report.

The victim told police that she was asleep in her bedroom when she was awoken by Keen, the report says.

The two began to argue and Keen pushed her to the ground, breaking her arm, according to the report.

She then ran across the street to her cousin’s house. The cousin called for a medic, the report says.

When police arrived, the victim was already being transported by medics, according to the report.

Keen was charged with a fifth degree felony at the Clark County Municipal Court on Monday, the report says. He could serve six to 12 months in jail or pay a $2,500 fine, according to the report.
