A state park ranger alleged he saw Doyle drive a car into the Buck Creek State Park parking lot about 7:35 p.m. Saturday, March 25, with expired plates.

The ranger stopped the car and alleged Doyle had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol, according to court records, and there were two open, cold cans of Bud Ice in the car. The suspect refused an alcohol breath test, the ranger said, but allegedly failed field sobriety tests.

A woman and two children younger than 5 years old also were the car at the time, court records say.
