A trial date is set for a case that alleges a man robbed a Springfield bank with a note.
Rodney J. Oglesby, 33, is set to go before a jury on April 4, according to court records.
The Springfield Police Division was called to the Security National Bank: Western Office in January for a report of a robbery.
Police allege Oglesby walked into the bank and began asking for a loan, according to a police report.
Eventually, police say Oglesby handed an employee a note, the report says.
“I need ten thousand in twentys no bag,” the report says the note said.
Oglesby pleaded not guilty in the case.
