Several shots fired at Wagon Wheel bar in Springfield

Dispatchers confirm no victims were found at the scene and no victims have shown up at Springfield Regional Medical Center after several shots were fired at the Wagon Wheel bar.

It was not immediately known how many shots were fired at the bar.

FIRST REPORT

Springfield police are investigating after several shots were fired outside the Wagon Wheel bar early Tuesday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the bar at 1005 South Burnett Road around 2:30 a.m. after several shots were reported fired, possibly exchanged between two shooters.

Initial reports indicate no shooting victims were found at the scene, but area hospitals were notified of the potential for victims to show up.
