Jones’ husband and his girlfriend were having dinner at a restaurant on North Limestone Street, when the girlfriend went to the car to grab her cigarettes, according to court records. Jones met the girlfriend in the parking lot, allegedly grabbed her by the hair and demanded the car keys.
After the girlfriend refused to give the keys, police alleged Jones began choking and scratching the girlfriend’s throat. Jones also reportedly hit the woman with the car keys, according to court records, scratching her inner right arm.
Jones also allegedly beat the rear end of her husband’s Cadillac and then left the scene. Jones later turned herself in at police headquarters.
