An employee said around 4 p.m. on Easter Sunday, “he returned to the rear of the business and discovered the suspect digging through the dumpster for the business,” the report says.
“(The employee) then noticed some property laying out in the grass that was inside the business. (The employee) took a photo of the speaker that had been in the business, and when he turned to take a photo of the suspect at the dumpster, he was gone.”

The employee told officers it appeared to be the same suspect that broke in last weekend.
“The suspect had returned and pushed open the barricade that was in front of the opening that he broke into last time,” the report says.
The employee and police also found a blue Jansport backpack next to the dumpster with tools inside that belonged to the business.
According to the report, the suspect is described to be in his 50s who was wearing a gray Carhartt coat, tan ball cap and a hoodie.
No other suspect or witness information was available.
A day later, officers were dispatched around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday to Mader Electric, 205 E. Main St., in reference to a break-in, according to a second Springfield police report.

When police arrived, the employee said the back door to his 2014 Cherokee Alpha Wolf camper at the business was open, but it was secure around 12 p.m. on Sunday.
“(The employee) noticed the door had been pried opened. (The employee) walked through the camper and advised that it had been rummaged through,” the report says.
According to the report, the kitchen sink faucet, two TVs, a DVD player and about 25 DVDs were stolen.
There had also been two other recent thefts at the store, the report says.
No suspect or witness information was available.
Springfield police continue their investigations into these incidents.
