MORE: 2 arrested in armed robbery at Springfield Verizon store
Reid and Edwards also had a gun specification attached to their charges. They will serve seven years on the aggravated robbery conviction and three years for the firearm specification, Clark County Assistant Prosecutor Brian Driscoll said.
Vaughn was bound over from juvenile court and was charged as an adult in the case. He was sentenced to 10 years for the aggravated robbery conviction.
“We are very pleased with the outcome in this case,” Driscoll said. “These gangs have been and continue to terrorize cell phone stores across the Miami Valley. The Springfield police, ATF and all the surrounding jurisdictions that worked on this case did an incredible job of identifying and arresting these three suspects.
The three defendants were accused of storming the Verizon store at 1780 N. Bechtle Ave. and stealing money and cell phones on Jan. 18. Three employees and three customers were inside during the armed robbery, Driscoll said.
“The victims of this case cooperated fully and helped ensure a positive outcome in this matter.”
Driscoll said while the robbers are young, it was important to send a message that armed robberies will not be tolerated in Clark County.

“When using firearms to commit violent robberies there needs to be accountability no matter the age of the defendant,” Driscoll said.
There are still two suspects who have not been identified, Driscoll said.
“We still need anyone with information on this robbery or any other cell phone store robbery to come forward with information so we can continue to prosecute these individuals.”
