A 55-year-old Middletown man was arrested at 3:25 p.m. at UDF, 101 N. Verity Parkway, on suspicion of petty theft. Police say he stole nearly $16 worth of food.

A 20-year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 7:17 p.m. at Kohl’s, 6825 Roosevelt Parkway, on suspicion of petty theft. Police say she stole $342 worth of clothing.
A 13-year-old Middletown boy was arrested at 7:14 p.m. at Rite Aid, 1915 Central Ave., on suspicion of theft. Police say the boy stole two Zippo lighters valued at $14 each.
The theft of prescription medication and six fishing rods, valued at a total of $600, occurred before 11:39 p.m. from a home in the 2300 block of Yankee Road. Police say access to the home was gained when someone kicked in the back door.

A 21-year-old Monroe man was arrested at 1:23 a.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt and South Breiel boulevards on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired (first within six years), driving under suspension, a marked lanes violation and a seatbelt violation.
The theft of a leaf blower occurred before 10:58 a.m. from a trailer parked at Sunoco, 2401 Cincinnati-Dayton Road. The reported value of the leaf blower is $800.
A 57-year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 11:32 a.m. in the 3400 block of Towne Boulevard on suspicion of petty theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say she stole 12 stakes, valued at $165.19 from Kroger, and had a crack pipe in her possession. A 36-year-old Middletown man was also arrested on suspicion of driving under suspension.
The theft of 50 Ohio Lottery scratch-off tickets occurred before 1:48 p.m. from Long Branch Saloon, 1807 Germantown Road. The tickets were in a safe and had not been activated, according to police.
