A police investigation began in March when the girl’s mother told Springfield police Winget had raped her daughter over the past three years.
Winget is currently booked in the Clark County Jail on a $250,000 bond. He will be re-arraigned on the new charges in a Clark County Common Pleas courtroom Friday. If convicted of child rape, Winget faces a life sentence with a possibility of parole after 10 or 15 years, prosecutors said.
