When police arrived at Roberts’ home around 3 a.m., he was very drunk. Roberts was uncooperative with officers while they interviewed him and the child’s mother, and he began yelling obscenities at officers and charged into the residence while another officer was investigating.
Officers detained him in the back of a police cruiser. Roberts began banging his head on the vehicle windows and then kicked the rear window out. He was charged with rape and felony vandalism and was placed in Clark County Jail.
