An 18-year-old man is jailed on suspicion of felonious assault in the stabbing reported Saturday night at Indian Lake.
Derrick Lee Richards is held without bond in the Logan County Jail awaiting his Tuesday morning court appearance. He was arrested by officers from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and was brough to the jail around 6:30 a.m., online jail records and jail staff confirmed.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks and Watercraft has issued a few more details about the stabbing incident at Indian Lake Saturday night.
There was an altercation between two males after the fireworks show had ended and people were leaving, according to the release.
One of the males was stabbed and taken by medical helicopter to a local hospital and the other male involved was taken into custody, according to the release.
Their identities have not been released. They “were not patrons of the park” but were watching the fireworks display, according to the release.

Officers with the Ohio Division of Natural Resources are investigating a stabbing at Indian Lake State Park following their fireworks show Saturday night.
The incident was reported around 10:45 p.m. when officers from the ODNR responded to multiple reports of one person stabbed.
According to Patrick Brown, Law Enforcement Officer with the Division of Parks and Watercraft, one person suffered serious injuries and was transported by CareFlight to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. Brown said the victim’s condition was not known, but was taken into surgery.
Brown said two people were immediately identified as suspects at the scene. One was questioned, and later arrested and booked into the Logan County Jail.
The second person was questioned and released, but is still considered a potential suspect Brown said.
The events leading up to the stabbing are unknown, but investigators believe there was an argument prior to the stabbing.
Investigators are working with several witnesses of the incident.
The identities of the victim and suspect were not immediately available.
