Home cams help Clark Co. detectives in B&E case

Home security cameras helped authorities recover stolen property and identify the alleged thieves who took it.

Two men were caught on camera the morning of May 24 stealing a 2012 utility trailer, go-cart and other metal items at a home in the 2900 block of Folk Ream Road, Pike Twp., according to a release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives tracked the stolen metal to a scrap yard, where Springfield cousins Jeremy James Arnold. 25. and Christopher P. Arnold. 31, allegedly brought it in to sell, according to the release.

The stolen trailer was recovered. Jeremy Arnold is being held in the Clark County Jail on suspicion of breaking and entering and receiving stolen property, according to the release.

Authorities said an arrest warrant is being sought on the same potential charges for Christopher.
