Bartender charged in late-night partying

Police arrived at a Springfield bar to find patrons drinking and dancing after the bar was supposed to stop serving alcohol and charged the bartender with a misdemeanor for the party, according to a Springfield Police Division incident report.

Springfield police were called to the Main Street Pub, 204 E. Main St., around 3 a.m. Saturday on a noise complaint and found a large group of 80 to 100 people still drinking and dancing more than an hour after the bar was supposed to be closed, police said.

Police charged the bartender, Erica Trinkle, 26, with violating entertainment hours in a drinking establishment.

Trinkle is scheduled to be arraigned on her charges in a Clark County Municipal Court Wednesday morning.
