Clark County sheriff’s deputies and Children Services are investigating after a four-year-old child was alone and without clothes in a roadway.

This happened Monday morning, when deputies say temperatures were around 20 degrees when the child was found on Curtis Drive in Northridge.

Deputies reunited the child with her family. The family claimed the child left the house through a “problem door.”

“If there is a situation where you have a child that is naturally curious and goes outside all the time be mindful of your child,” said Lt. Kristopher Shultz. “Pay close attention to where your children are, where they’re playing, who they’re with. The proximity to your house or anything that could lead to a problem.”

Deputies also suggest folks should check their door and window latches.
