2 found dead in Clark County home identified, investigation ongoing

The two people that were found dead inside a home on Dec. 30 in Mad River Twp. near Enon have been identified.

Julie Hamilton, 57, and Sean Inman, 49, were found inside a home in the 8100 block of Gibson Avenue, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office. The cause and manner of death cannot be released at this time and will be at least eight weeks before it is available.

Clark County sheriff’s deputies responded to the home around 9:05 a.m. for a welfare check, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Upon arrival, deputies did a check at the residence and noted a male subject lying on the kitchen floor and forced entry was made to the residence. Upon entering the residence, units located two individuals, a male and female, on the kitchen floor,” the sheriff’s office stated.

Both Hamilton and Inman were deceased at the time of deputies’ entry.

Deputies taped off the home and blocked Gibson Avenue for hours as they investigated. The scene was clear around 3 p.m.

Several sheriff’s deputies, as well as coroner’s office representatives all responded to the scene of the investigation.

Deputies said they don’t believe any other individuals were involved, and the case remains under investigation.
