An Amber Alert was canceled after a 5-year-old girl last seen around 6:15 p.m. Thursday in Canton was found safe Friday night in Bloomington, Illinois.
Ana Grace Burke was believed abducted by a family acquaintance, Jonathan Lee Stinnett, who was arrested and in custody, police said.
Jackson Twp. police in Stark County told media outlets that Ana had permission to be with Stinnett, but not for that length of time.
Jackson Twp. police initially issued an Endangered Missing Child Alert Friday morning. The Amber Alert was issued around 2:15 p.m. Friday.
