DETAILED FORECAST

Mostly cloudy skies are expected overnight with rain chances increasing, especially as we head towards daybreak Monday, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

Lows overnight will be in the upper 40s, Collar said.

Monday: Scattered showers are expected. It will be a soggy day with the chance for a few storms. Highs will be in the lower to middle 60s.

Tuesday: More showers and thunderstorms are expected. Some of the storms could be strong to severe, but the strongest storms should stay south of the region.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies are on tap with the chance for more showers and storms. Highs will be closer to the middle 70s.

Thursday: A cold front moves through, bringing with it more showers and storms. Some of the storms could be strong to severe. Highs will be in the middle 70s prior to the front moving through.

Friday: It will be dry and a bit cooler under partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 70s.
