The high temperature for today reached 28 degrees in Cincinnati and 29 in Dayton and Columbus. Overnight, temperatures will drop into the upper teens and low 20s.
Tuesday will be slightly warmer with temperatures reaching into the mid-30s.
Wednesday could see rain in the afternoon, which could mix with snow in the early evening as colder air moves into the region. Highs will be from the upper 30s to mid-40s.
Much colder and drier air returns for the final part of the workweek and into the weekend.
Daytime highs remain in the middle to upper 20s for Thursday and Friday with overnight lows in the single digits to lower teens. The weekend may warm slightly to low 30s, but still remain colder than normal.
