Flood advisories expire for Auglaize, Darke, Shelby counties

A flood advisory has been issued for Auglaize, Darke and Shelby counties till 7 a.m. Friday. Heavy rain from storms may create minor flooding on roads and low lying spots, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.

Scattered storms will move through the area between 2 and 5 a.m., according to Storm Center 7 meteorologists.

Frequent lightning and brief heavy rain will be possible. Skies outside of the storms will be partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to near 70 degrees by morning.

Friday: Expect lots of clouds and a chance for showers and storms. A few storms could be strong; damaging winds possible with the strongest storms. Temperatures should climb back into the middle 80s for highs.

Saturday: A mix of sun and clouds, along with a chance for a few passing showers or storms. Better chances will be early in the day. Highs will reach into the lower 80s.

Sunday: Partly cloudy skies and seasonable temperatures are expected with highs in the lower 80s.

Monday: Partly cloudy skies will start the week with warmer, more humid conditions. There is a chance for a shower or storm, mainly late or at night. Highs will be in the middle 80s.

Independence Day: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with a chance for a passing shower or storm this Fourth of July. Highs will be in the middle 80s.
