After a very active evening, weather will quiet down for the overnight hours, which will be partly cloudy, mild and muggy with lows around 70 degrees, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.

Saturday: Very warm and humid conditions are expected. Highs will be in the upper 80s with heat indices in the middle 90s. Scattered showers and storms develop to the west into the afternoon and may spread into our area later into the evening. Any storms locally could bring heavy rain and gusty winds. Leftover showers or storms will end into Saturday night with lows holding in the lower 70s.

Sunday: Partly sunny, hot and humid weather is in store. Highs around 90 degrees will feel like the mid-90s. There is a chance of a few shower or storms into the afternoon and evening.

Monday: Another very warm and humid day is expected with highs in the upper 80s and heat indices in the middle 90s. Chance of a few isolated pop-up showers or thunderstorms exists during the heat of the day.

Tuesday: It will be partly cloudy with a few pop-up shower or storms possible. It remains very warm and humid with highs approaching 90 degrees; heat indices will be in the middle 90s.

Wednesday: A cold front will bring a better chance for shower and storms. Otherwise, partly cloudy, warm and humid with highs in the middle 80s.
