2. It gets you and up to three adult companions in free to the 118 of 417 National Park Service sites that charge admission. The pass is also good for discounts on services such as camping.

4. The price increase, approved by federal lawmakers last year, is expected to generate $37.6 million, which will be used to address deferred maintainence, trail upkeep and improved visitor facilities.
5. The price increase takes effect Aug. 28.
Ohio is home to three National Park sites: Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, Hopewell Culture National Historical Park and Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
