Skies will briefly clear overnight, with some increase in clouds toward morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Overnight lows will hold in the lower 70s.

Thursday: Skies will be partly cloudy with increasing clouds toward afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms will develop late in the day and a few could be strong with brief heavy rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds. Temperatures will reach into the upper 80s outside of any rain.

Friday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with a chance for showers or storms. Highs will be in the middle 80s.

Saturday: Scattered showers and storms will remain possible through the day, although tapering off toward evening. Highs will climb back into the middle 80s outside of any rain. It will also become quite breezy at times as a cold front crosses the Miami Valley.

Sunday: Skies will clear through the day with cooler, less humid air arriving. High temperatures will hold in the middle 70s.

Monday: Expect lots of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures in the upper 70s.
