A Springfield man was arrested for his fifth OVI offense early Sunday morning, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

OSHP Troopers arrested Kevin Wade, 40, along state Route 72 after they observed him weaving out of his lane just before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Wade’s blood alcohol concentration was more than three times the legal limit.

The OSHP is increasing patrols throughout the upcoming weekend for the holidays, a release said.
