The Upper Valley Mall, a fixture in Springfield since 1971, will close permanently in June, county officials said today.

The mall has been the site of thousands of children visiting with Santa Claus, Springfield’s Got Talent shows, freeze models showing off clothing and much more. In recent times, the mall has been the site of vaccinations in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
