On New Year’s Day, civilians and Corpus Christi Police officers in Texas worked together to rescue a 70-year-old male from a burning vehicle. His vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling the wrong way on SH 358 and had flipped onto its side.

The efforts from the officers and civilians are commended for saving the life of the 70-year-old male, who is believed would not have survived without their heroic efforts.
