Visitation, funeral arrangements announced for Clearcreek Twp. officer killed in crash

The visitation and funeral arrangements for the Clearcreek Twp. officer killed in a crash earlier this week have been announced.

The visitation for Officer Jerrid M. Lee will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia, Ohio from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 3, the department announced Thursday.

“At the conclusion of the visitation, a memorial service will be held at the funeral home,” the department said.

Lee, 27, of Bethel, was killed in a crash on Ohio 125 on Monday night, while off duty, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Justin Watts, 31, of Cincinnati, was arraigned on Tuesday in Clermont County Municipal Court on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide resulting from an OVI, according to court records.

The United States Air Force will conduct military honors for Lee.

A formal procession and graveside service will not be taking place.

Donations for the family of Officer Lee may be made at any Fifth Third Bank location in the name of the “Jerrid Lee Memorial Fund.”
