Investigators said no occupants of either house were injured during the collision.
An initial investigation by officers revealed the driver was traveling south on Lagonda when the vehicle crossed the center line and exited the right side of the road, police said. The vehicle struck a utility pole before hitting the two houses.
A cause of the crash remains under investigation and Ohio Edison crews were called to the scene to repair the damaged pole.
