Local offices and services will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but some services will open on Friday along with retail stores.

Some retail stores will open as early as Thanksgiving day with discounts.

Here is a list of what is closed in Springfield on Thanksgiving Day and Friday:

Federal Offices

All federal offices are closed Thursday.

City Offices

All Springfield City offices are closed Thursday and Friday.

County Offices

All Clark County offices are closed Thursday and Friday.

Courts

Clark County courts are closed Thursday and Friday.

Mailing Services

The United States Postal Service is closed Thursday, UPS Express Critical and FedEx Custom Critical is open.

Libraries

The Clark County Public Library is closed Thursday.

Banks

All banks are closed Thursday.
