When it was first built, this five-room log cabin with an attic belonging to John Thrasher and wife Mary and their family was considered to be one of the finest in the area.
Located north of Lagonda Avenue on Thacker Street, it was on land that was part of the Benjamin H. Warder estate because John, who came from Maryland, was a carpenter and farmer for the estate.
