Firefighters originally responded to a report that the back door of 23 Monument Square in the alleyway was on fire, according to dispatch records.
The door fire seemed suspicious, Ortlieb said.
Crews were requested from surrounding city fire departments, but our crew on scene reported only seeing Urbana crews on arrival.
