Police arrest man who drove truck into Buck Creek State Park reservoir

UPDATE @ 5:40 a.m.:

Police on scene said a man has been taken into custody, and to the police station downtown to be tested for intoxication after he drove his truck in the reservoir at the Buck Creek State Park boat ramps.

According to police, the truck hit a curb too hard and skipped over it, landing in the water. The driver was uncooperative with officers, and is being cited for reckless driving.

The truck is still in the water, and will likely need divers to connect a line to a tow truck to be pulled from the water.

Officers are waiting for a representative from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

There are three docks, and two are closed due to the truck in the water.

Emergency personnel are responding to a report of a truck in the reservoir at Buck Creek State Park.
