CORONAVIRUS: 5 things Clark, Champaign residents need to know today

Here are five things Clark and Champaign residents need to know about COVID-19, or coronavirus today.

1. Clark County confirmed four more positive cases of coronavirus over the weekend. Positive cases have now been found in the City of Springfield, Bethel Township, German Township and the City of New Carlisle. Clark County now has six confirmed cases.

2. Clark and Champaign first responders are preparing for a possible surge in cases. They have tweaked their operations and increased the amount of personal protection equipment being used.

3. 'Your Ride Home' is offering rides to grocery stores, pharmacies and food pantries. Drivers are also prepared to deliver food and essentials from food pantries to residents' homes if they can not go out.

4. Clark and Champaign school district leaders agree that eliminating annual state testing and September report cards is the right thing to do. Ohio Legislature approved waivers to testing and report cards for this school year.
