Dispatchers said both directions of Lowry Road are closed after the car crashed into a utility pole.
Nearby railroad tracks are also closed to trains due to the crash.
Ohio Edison is on scene addressing the downed pole and police remain on scene, according to dispacthers.

CareFlight has been requested for a crash on South Lowry Avenue in Springfield.
Dispatchers received the report of the crash around 6:49 p.m.
Initial reports indicate a utility pole is split in two and a portion resting on power lines.
