4 hurt in 4-vehicle crash

SPRINGFIELD -- Four people were injured in a four-vehicle accident on Kensington Street on Friday afternoon.

The four sustained minor injuries, and three of them were transported to the hospital, according to Assistant Chief Brian Miller of the Springfield Fire Rescue Division.

Eight people overall were involved in the incident. Miller said the accident occurred in traffic caused by students leaving school nearby.
