Gas prices in Miami Valley falling

Gas prices have gone down in the Miami Valley over the last week and continue to trend downward.

Average retail gas prices in Dayton have fallen 16.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.16 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 391 gas outlets in Dayton.

This compares with the national average that has fallen 0.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.21 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.

According to GasBuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Dayton is $2.15, with prices falling. The cheapest gas, as of this morning, is $2.09 at multiple locations.

In Hamilton, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.15, with prices stable. The cheapest gas is $1.91 at Five Points Market at Grand Boulevard near Tylersville Road.

In Springfield, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.15, with prices falling. The cheapest gas is $1.99 at three different stations.
